Issues after a software update

I've had a few issues pop up lately and was hoping to see if anyone else has experienced the same?

For one, my courtesy lights aren't coming on anymore when I get near the car or remote start it. And my goodness. the car alarm keeps going off randomly even when the car's just parked and locked. it's scandalous and disturbs the whole neighborhood! I've got a 23 Hornet GT plus, by the way so let me know if anyone else who's got the same car is getting the same problems. any advice will be helpful! Thanks!

That seems to be a more common bug but I've never heard about issues with the courtesy lights.
For the alarm, I'd suggest checking your hood latch sensor and making sure it's fully seated.
Also, double-check your Uconnect settings to ensure no alarm sensitivity options have been inadvertently changed.
A hard reset might help with both issues.
If that doesn't work, your next best bet is taking your car to dealership for further diagnosis.

Agree with this! The phantom alarm is usually tied to a sensitive hood latch sensor. I've encountered this too, and a good clean and lube fixed it! It could be worth a shot if you still haven't sorted out this one yet.
