What I got: 2024 R/T Plus PHEV EAWD
When I got it: last week
What I overlooked: taillight cracks

Pissed that this happened to me, but I'm sharing that you can actually get any cracked light replaced at your local Chrysler dealership. What they did was replace, and after 2 days it cracked again lol. What's up with the quality? They did replace again but it's so frustrating.

Mine had cracks too and the dealer implied that i might have caused it. brought it to them and it showed that the cracks were from the inside out so definiitely not my fault. They replaced it and so far, so good

That's a bummer. It sounds like a lot of people are dealing with the same thing.I'm glad you got it replaced but it's wild that it cracked again.Dodge has to fix the taillight quality on these

Oof, that's incredibly frustrating!
Did they make any further inspection to explain what could be the problem?
I'm guessing some stress from installation or mounting issues?
It shouldn't be normal that it cracked again too soon!

wow, sorry tht you have to get through this kind of issue. This is a problem where you need to get the dealer to look at the process, not just the part.
Before they install the third one, ask them to inspect the mounting points for any misalignment and ensure they are torquing the bolts correctly.
Make sure you document every visit, take pictures, and get everything in writing. If they can't figure it out on the third try, your next step is to call Dodge's corporate customer service and open a case.
This kind of quality control issue is unacceptable for a new car
