My sister brought her 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus in for UConnect issues and got it back with a broken sunroof. The dealer tried replacing parts and reached out to Dodge but all fixes are guesswork at this point. It's stuck halfway open and they're afraid to touch it. Has anyone with the plug in model dealt with sunroof issues after electrical repairs?

wow, it's basically a new car. I had the same issue before, but mine was older than '24
My Dodge Hornet was having an electrical short or a bad ground/connection somewhere they messed with for the UConnect, or even a fried control module.
The sunroof module is tied into the vehicle's electrical system, and if they zapped something during the UConnect repair, it could definitely go sideways.
They need to trace all the wiring runs they touched and check for continuity and proper power/ground

This is a strong possibility. I'll have my sister tell them to re-examine all the connections they handled. Her car has been sitting at the dealer for what feels like an eternity. How long would you figure a complete electrical diagnostic takes on 1 of these?
