Is Dodge Connect worth it?

The trial period of my Dodge Connect is almost over and I'm not sure if I should purchase a subscription. I haven't really used it the past months and I think I could access most features without depending on Dodge Connect. The only thing I could see of value would be the Stolen Vehicle Assistance but I have no idea how comprehensive or effective that is. It's priced $14.99 + taxes per month so I'm not convinced. If anyone here has any experience subscribing to Dodge Connect, is it worth it? I need your two cents!

I was in the same boat when my trial ended and honestly, I passed on renewing. Most of the features I used like remote start, lock/unlock were cool novelties at first but not really must haves for me. I figured I could live without them.
As for the SVA, yeah it sounds good on paper, but I haven't seen many real life stories where it made a huge difference. $15 a month adds up fast for something you might use once, if ever.

I completely understand what you mean, those extra features seem great initially, but they often don't make up for the monthly cost. I'm curious, has anyone here actually had an SVA that paid off for them in a real-life scenario?

Honestly, if you haven't really used Dodge Connect much during the trial, and you feel most features are accessible without it, then it's probably not worth the $14.99 a month for you.
About the SVA, I also don't know anyone personally who needed it but I think it's also not a foolproof guarantee.
You'd still need to file a police report, and then Dodge Connect would work with law enforcement to try and locate the vehicle using GPS.
It's like a "better to have it and not need it" feature for sure, but consider if your peace of mind is worth the ongoing cost for you, especially if the other features aren't a draw.
If that's a main concern for you though, you could also look into aftermarket GPS trackers as an alternative!
