Leased a car but couldn't take it home right away because the check engine light was on, it needed a system update. Picked it up the next day and it ran fine until like the 4th day, when the check engine light came back along with "service engine" and "drive mode unavailable" messages. Dealer replaced the auxiliary water pump and gave it back a day after. The next day, I noticed a leak, and then got warnings for high coolant and oil temps, followed by the same check engine light and errors. Had it towed back, starting to feel like I got a lemon.

The 'system update' and immediate problems sound sketchy. You need to escalate this beyond just your service advisor
get in touch with the dealership's general manager and possibly even Dodge customer service directly
keep every receipt, every work order, and every communication. This needs to be resolved permanently, or you need to get out of that lease

Yeah man, you should be concerned especially with a brand new lease.
I second @Fur real tho's advice to document everything, like every dealer visit, warning light, and repair.
Keep all your service records and yeah, maybe start looking into your state's lemon law.
