I'm currently still not set on getting a car but the 2025 Dodge Hornet GT Blacktop is the one I have been eyeing for a couple weeks now. I know it's the base trim but I'm okay with that, but I might want to upgrade the speakers.

To those who have it currently: are the speakers okay? If not, what aftermarket options do you suggest I get?

I've read somewhere that if it's just for casual listeners then the sounds are okay. I heard about Kicker giving good value for money. Their CS and KS series speakers are very popular.

The speakers on the base GT are a six-speaker setup.
Some find them perfectly adequate for everyday listening like what @ichoosesilence said, especially if you're not an audiophile.
But I've also heard others describing it as "trash" or "average," noting a lack of richness and muddy bass at higher volumes and when windows are down.
But if you decide to upgrade, check out Crutchfield!
They'll show you exactly what fits your 2025 Hornet GT Blacktop, including speaker sizes!

That's a solid analysis! It looks like it works well for everyday use, but if you really value sound quality, it might not cut it. Has anyone here upgraded and noticed a significant improvement?
