Jumpy EV mode on my ’25 GT Plus

Got a '25 GT Plus and when I'm cruising in EV mode at about 35 mph, the car randomly switches to gas mode even when I'm not pressing hard on the pedal. It feels jumpy, like it's confused about which mode to use. Doesn't happen every time, but it's starting to annoy me. Might check with the dealer but thought of checking with you all before reaching out to them.

Have you noticed if the battery charge is low when it happens?
The car will definitely switch to gas if the battery is depleted, but it sounds like you're describing something different.
Another thing to check is if you're going up a slight incline because even a small grade can sometimes trigger the gas engine to kick in, especially if you're trying to maintain speed without accelerating.
I've noticed it can be a bit aggressive with its programming sometimes.
Anyway, it wouldn't harm to ask your dealer's service department about this.
They can check for any stored codes and see if there are any updates for the powertrain control module.
I'd be interested to hear an update!

I've noticed that too on a friend's '25 GT Plus, it seems like the system is touchy about load and battery levels.
